Top pike man, Mick Brown, tackles a beautiful Norfolk water in early summer - a lovely time of year, which was once the traditional British close season. After a brief look at items needed for bank fishing, Mick wastes no time in setting about legering and float fishing with deadbaits and he soon catches several awesome looking pike. The importance of timing the strike when fishing with wobbled deadbaits is also clearly demonstrated. Perhaps the most exciting part of this programme is the amazing footage of Mick lure fishing. As he works through an assortment of surface and sub-surface lures in different swims, Mick proves the importance of changing colour, action, size and casting weight of the artificials.
